Anyone done focus groups with defence procurement decision-makers?

Trying to understand how buying decisions get made for defence tech but access is tough. Curious if anyone has cracked this recruitment problem.

Yes, done this a few times — the key is going through defence industry associations and veterans' networks rather than cold outreach, as trust is everything in this space. Incentives matter less than you'd think; most participants engage because they genuinely want better procurement outcomes. Expect 6-8 weeks for recruitment and budget for small groups of 4-5 max, since getting even that many in a room is a win.
