Anyone have benchmarks for defense contractor brand perception research?

Trying to scope out a brand study for a mid-tier defense supplier and not sure what sample sizes or methodologies are typical in this space.

For mid-tier defense suppliers, n=200-300 is usually sufficient since your universe is pretty niche — procurement officers, program managers, contracting folks. Most studies I've seen in this space use a mix of awareness/favorability laddering plus a few open-ends, fielded through specialized B2B panels like Lucid or even direct outreach via LinkedIn. Budget-wise, expect higher CPIs than consumer work given how hard that audience is to reach.
