How do you find reliable market size data for industrial machinery?

Working on a report for a client in heavy equipment and can't figure out where to pull solid numbers from. Most of what I find is paywalled or outdated.

For industrial machinery, I usually start with FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) and the U.S. Census Bureau's Annual Survey of Manufactures — both free and surprisingly solid for baseline numbers. Trade associations like AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) often publish free industry snapshots too. If you need deeper data, IBISWorld is worth a one-report purchase rather than a full subscription.
