Anyone done pricing research for defence software contracts before?

Working on a pricing study for a B2G software tool and the usual methods feel off. Curious if conjoint even works in this space.

Conjoint can work but the respondent pool is brutal — procurement officers are hard to recruit and often can't speak freely due to classification constraints. We've had better luck combining van Westendorp with a few deep-dive interviews with contracting officers or former DoD buyers. Competitive bid data and GSA schedule rates are also gold if you can get access.
