Anyone used conjoint analysis to price specialty coatings?

We're launching a new industrial coating and trying to figure out what customers will actually pay for different performance features. Wondering if conjoint is overkill here or worth it.

Conjoint is absolutely worth it here — we ran a choice-based conjoint for an industrial adhesives launch and it was a game-changer for separating which performance specs (cure time, temp resistance, substrate compatibility) actually drove WTP vs. what customers just said mattered. Qualtrics or Lighthouse Studio both handle this well. Aim for at least 200-300 respondents from actual buyers/specifiers, not just procurement.
