Anyone used conjoint analysis for pricing a home solar product?

We're trying to figure out what residential customers actually value — battery backup, installation speed, brand, price. Wondering if conjoint is overkill or worth it.

Conjoint is absolutely worth it here — those four attributes (especially battery backup vs. price tradeoff) are exactly what it's designed to untangle. We ran a choice-based conjoint for a solar client last year using Qualtrics conjoint module, ~300 respondents, and it surfaced that installation speed mattered way more than brand, which totally shifted their messaging. Don't overthink the design — 3-4 attributes with 3 levels each keeps it clean.
