From research I've done in East and West Africa, agro-dealer networks and fellow farmers are consistently the top two channels — word of mouth from a trusted neighbor often beats everything else. Demo plots are huge too, since smallholders want to *see* performance before they commit. Radio still punches above its weight in rural areas, especially for initial awareness.
