How do farmers usually prefer to be surveyed about new equipment?

Trying to figure out whether phone, in-person, or online works best for reaching small-scale farmers. Any experience with this?

In my experience, in-person works best for small-scale farmers — they're often skeptical of cold calls and don't always have reliable internet access. If you can catch them at a co-op meeting or farm supply store, response quality is way better. Phone can work as a backup if you already have an established relationship with them.
