How do you track brand perception shifts after a recall?

Working on a project for an auto client that had a minor recall last year. Trying to figure out the best way to measure how customer trust has changed since then.

For auto recall recovery, I'd run a brand tracker with a Net Trust Score question before/after at 3-month intervals — something like 'How much do you trust [Brand] to prioritize your safety?' on a 10-point scale. Pair that with social listening (Brandwatch works well here) to catch sentiment shifts in real time. Also worth segmenting recall-affected owners vs. non-affected buyers separately, since their trust curves tend to look very different.
