Anyone segmented B2B customers in freight or last-mile delivery recently?

Trying to figure out how to cut our logistics customer base into meaningful segments beyond just company size. Would love to hear what variables actually worked for others.

Yeah, we did this for a regional carrier last year — company size alone was pretty useless. What actually moved the needle was segmenting on shipment frequency, sensitivity to delivery windows (time-critical vs. flexible), and in-house logistics capability (do they have their own ops team or are they totally outsourcing?). Those three variables gave us 4 distinct segments that mapped really cleanly to different value props and willingness to pay.
