How do people actually decide between EV brands right now?

Working on a project for an auto client and trying to understand what's driving brand choice beyond just range and price. Anyone done recent research on this?

Beyond range and price, we're seeing charging network trust and software/OTA update reputation really move the needle right now — Tesla still wins on both in awareness studies even as hardware competition catches up. Brand perception around 'tech company vs. car company' is also surprisingly polarizing depending on the buyer segment. If you're doing primary research, a MaxDiff with 10-12 attributes across 300+ EV intenders will surface this fast.
