How do small farmers usually find out about new crop products?

Trying to figure out where to focus outreach for a new fertilizer line. Do they rely on local dealers, word of mouth, or something else?

From what I've seen in agri research, local dealers and agronomists are still the #1 touchpoint for small farmers — they trust that face-to-face relationship over almost anything else. Word of mouth from neighboring farmers runs a close second, especially at co-ops or farm supply stores. If I were you, I'd prioritize getting your product in front of dealers first and maybe seed some demo plots so neighbors start talking.
