How do you figure out what actually drives EV purchase decisions?

Working on a project for an auto client and trying to understand if it's range anxiety, price, or just brand trust holding people back. Any go-to methods you've used?

MaxDiff surveys are your best friend here — forces people to make real trade-offs between range, price, brand, charging infrastructure, etc. instead of just rating everything as 'very important.' We ran one for a similar client with about 500 respondents and price sensitivity consistently beat range anxiety, which surprised everyone. Layer in a few follow-up qual interviews to understand the emotional side (brand trust especially) and you'll have a solid story.
