Try layering in psychographic and behavioral variables — things like environmental identity, tech adoption stage, and home charging capability are way more predictive of brand choice than demographics alone. We ran a segmentation last year using latent class analysis with those variables and it surfaced 4 distinct buyer types that demographics completely missed. Range anxiety vs. status signaling vs. sustainability motivation vs. total cost optimization — totally different messaging needed for each.
