What's the best way to segment EV buyers right now?

We're trying to figure out if early adopters and mainstream buyers need totally different messaging. Has anyone done segmentation work on this recently?

Yes, and the early adopter vs. mainstream split is very real — we've been segmenting on a combo of range anxiety tolerance, home charging access, and environmental vs. cost motivation. Those three variables alone tend to separate the groups pretty cleanly. Psychographic segmentation (using something like Qualtrics or even a quick cluster analysis in SPSS) works better here than pure demographics, which honestly don't tell you much.
