Anyone researched why shippers switch freight providers?

There's solid existing work here — Mastio & Company does annual freight broker/carrier satisfaction studies that break out switching reasons pretty well. From what I've seen, service reliability and communication failures consistently outrank price as churn drivers. That said, if your niche is specialized (e.g., temp-controlled, hazmat), I'd layer in your own qual interviews since the general studies miss a lot of that nuance.
