Anyone used conjoint analysis for a new personal care product launch?

We're trying to figure out which product attributes actually drive purchase decisions for a new skincare line. Wondering if conjoint is overkill or worth the effort here.

Conjoint is absolutely worth it for skincare — attributes like ingredients, scent, packaging, and price interact in ways that simple surveys totally miss. We ran a choice-based conjoint for a moisturizer launch last year using Qualtrics, around 300 respondents, and it clearly separated the 'nice to haves' from the real purchase drivers. Definitely not overkill if you're making real launch decisions.
