Best way to test pricing for a new SaaS tool targeting SMEs?

Working on a pricing study for a B2B software product and not sure if conjoint analysis is overkill here. Open to other approaches.

Conjoint can be overkill for early-stage pricing — I'd start with Van Westendorp (Price Sensitivity Meter) since it's quick to run and SME owners respond well to its straightforward questions. If you need to test specific price points against feature bundles, a simple Gabor-Granger follow-up gets you there without the complexity. Tools like Typeform or even a quick Qualtrics survey with 50-80 respondents is usually enough to get directional data at this stage.
