Yes, ran conjoint for a premium snack launch last year and it was worth it over a simple PSM survey — you get way more nuance on how price interacts with flavor, pack size, and brand claims. We used Qualtrics conjoint with about 300 respondents and it surfaced a sweet spot around $4.99 that a basic price sensitivity test would have missed. If your budget is tight, at minimum do a Van Westendorp + a few trade-off questions rather than price sensitivity alone.
