Best way to figure out why customers switch between snack brands?

We're seeing a lot of churn in our loyalty data but can't pinpoint why. Wondering if surveys are even the right tool here or if we need something more qualitative.

Honestly, surveys alone won't cut it here — you need to pair them with something like exit interviews or even shop-alongs to catch the emotional/contextual stuff. A quick 5-7 question post-switch survey triggered in your loyalty app can flag *that* they left, but 6-8 in-depth interviews will tell you *why*. Once you have themes from the qual, then build a quant survey to size them.
