Best way to get consumer feedback on sustainable packaging?

We're testing a few eco-friendly packaging designs and want real reactions, not just what people say they prefer. Thinking surveys but open to other ideas.

Surveys will tell you what people *think* they prefer, but if you want real reactions, try an in-home use test or intercept study where people actually handle the packaging. Eye-tracking and shelf simulations (tools like Tobii or even UserZoom) are great for seeing what grabs attention before they rationalize a choice. Combining a quick 5-point reaction scale *right after* physical interaction tends to get you much more honest data.
