Best way to segment patients vs. caregivers in a survey?

Working on a study for a home care product and not sure whether to split them into separate surveys or handle it in one. Any experience with this?

I'd recommend a single survey with a screener question upfront (e.g., 'Are you the primary user of this product or do you assist someone else?') that branches into separate question paths. This keeps your data in one place and makes comparison way easier. We did this for a mobility aid study and it saved us a ton of time in analysis versus managing two separate datasets.
