Best way to survey patients without it feeling too clinical?

Working on a patient experience study and our current survey feels way too formal. Wondering if anyone has tips for making it feel more conversational.

Try swapping formal question stems like 'Please rate your satisfaction with...' for something like 'How did it feel when...' — small wording shifts make a huge difference. Also consider using a conversational survey tool like Typeform instead of a traditional grid-heavy format. Patients respond way better when it feels like a dialogue, not a form.
