Best way to test packaging changes without a huge budget?

We're tweaking a product's packaging and need consumer feedback fast. Wondering if an online survey is enough or if we really need in-person testing.

Online surveys are totally fine for a first pass — tools like Pickfu or even a quick Google Forms with product mockup images can get you solid feedback for under $100. I'd aim for at least 100-150 respondents and ask specific questions about shelf appeal, clarity, and purchase intent. Save in-person testing for your final 2-3 concepts once you've already narrowed things down.
