Van Westendorp is a solid starting point for a new premium snack — it's quick, cheap, and gives you that acceptable price range without overwhelming respondents. That said, if you're also testing different pack sizes, flavors, or bundle options, conjoint will give you way more actionable data. Honestly for a first launch I'd do VW first to narrow the range, then run a small conjoint if you still have budget uncertainty.
