How do farmers usually prefer to get info about new crop products?

Trying to figure out the best channels to reach smallholder farmers for a product launch. Do they trust reps more than digital content?

From what I've seen in smallholder research, trusted local ag reps and farmer-to-farmer word of mouth still dominate — digital is growing but trust is the bottleneck. Demo days and field trials tend to convert way better than brochures or social ads. If budget allows, pairing a rep visit with a WhatsApp follow-up group has worked really well in a few African and Southeast Asian markets I've tracked.
