How do people actually decide which EV to buy?

Trying to understand the real decision drivers — is it range, price, brand, or something else? Would love to know if anyone has done recent consumer research on this.

From recent consumer research I've seen, range anxiety and total cost of ownership tend to dominate early funnel decisions, but charging network availability often seals or kills the deal at the end. J.D. Power's EV Consideration Study is worth a look — they track this annually with solid sample sizes. Brand trust is climbing too, especially as legacy automakers enter the space.
