How do you recruit patients for market research without burning them out?

Working on a study targeting chronic illness patients and struggling to get responses beyond the first survey. Any tricks that actually work?

The big thing with chronic illness panels is keeping surveys under 10 minutes and spacing them out — we typically wait 6-8 weeks between touchpoints minimum. Also, small incentives tied to *each* survey (even $10-15 gift cards) beat a big payout at the end because people don't trust they'll see it. Patient advocacy orgs are also gold for warm recruitment since those patients are already motivated to contribute.
