How do you segment customers for last-mile delivery services?

Working on a project for a mid-size courier company and not sure whether to segment by geography or behavior. Any tips from people who've done this before?

Honestly, for last-mile specifically I'd layer both — start with geography (urban vs suburban vs rural drives totally different cost structures and expectations), then cut by behavior like delivery frequency and time-sensitivity. In my experience, B2B vs B2C is usually the biggest fault line you'll find once you dig into the data. Tools like k-means clustering in SPSS or even a simple RFM model can get you there pretty fast.
