Anyone used conjoint analysis to test sustainable packaging options?

We're trying to figure out how much eco-friendly packaging actually influences purchase decisions. Wondering if conjoint is the right call or if there's something simpler.

Yes, conjoint is actually perfect for this — it forces tradeoffs so you can see if people *actually* value eco packaging vs. just saying they do in a direct survey. We ran a choice-based conjoint for a CPG client last year with packaging material, price premium, and brand as attributes, and the price sensitivity data alone was worth it. If you want something simpler, a MaxDiff can rank eco attributes quickly but won't give you the willingness-to-pay angle.
