Anyone used price sensitivity research for FMCG product launches?

Launching a new household product and trying to nail the price point. Wondering if Van Westendorp is still the go-to or if there's something better.

Van Westendorp is still solid for FMCG launches — gives you that acceptable price range quickly and stakeholders love how intuitive the output is. That said, if you want to model actual purchase likelihood at different price points, pair it with a Gabor-Granger or run a quick conjoint. For a household product I'd probably do VW first to set the range, then Gabor-Granger to stress-test it.
