Online surveys will definitely miss a big chunk of smallholder farmers — we ran a similar study in East Africa and went with in-person interviews using KoBoToolbox on tablets, which worked great offline. Partner with local ag extension officers or cooperatives to get access; they're already trusted by farmers and can help with translation too. Aim for intercept interviews at market days or input supply shops — that's where you'll actually find them.
