Try catching them during mandatory rest stops or at truck stops rather than sending cold emails — response rates jump dramatically when you intercept them in person or partner with a trucking association that already has their trust. Short SMS surveys (under 5 questions) also work way better than email for this demographic since many are on their phones between hauls. We saw response rates go from 8% to around 34% just by switching to a 3-question SMS format with a small fuel card incentive.
