Best way to test price sensitivity for a new household product launch?

We're launching a mid-range cleaning product and trying to nail the price point before we go live. Has anyone used conjoint analysis for something like this or is there a simpler approach?

Conjoint works great for this but can be overkill if you're just trying to nail one price point. For a mid-range cleaning product, I'd honestly start with a simple Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter — 4 questions, 200-300 respondents, and you'll get a clear acceptable price range fast. If you want to also test how price interacts with claims or pack size, then go conjoint.
