How do farmers usually prefer to hear about new crop tech?

Trying to figure out the best channels to reach smallholder farmers for a product launch. Not sure if digital even makes sense here.

For smallholders, peer-to-peer is usually king — demo days and farmer field schools consistently outperform digital in our research. That said, WhatsApp/SMS can work well as a *follow-up* channel once there's initial trust built in person. I'd lead with trusted local agro-dealers or extension officers as your first touchpoint, then layer in digital.
