Anyone segmented B2B buyers for a cloud software product before?

Working on a segmentation project for a SaaS client and struggling with which variables actually matter for B2B. Would love to hear how others have approached this.

Yes! For cloud/SaaS the variables that actually moved the needle for us were company size (employee count), technical maturity of the buyer (IT-led vs. business-led purchase), and current stack/integrations. Firmographics alone won't cut it — layered in behavioral data like feature usage patterns and support ticket frequency to get segments that were actually actionable.
