How do you track brand perception shifts after a car recall?

Working on a post-recall study for an auto client and not sure if surveys alone cut it. Curious what methods others have used to measure reputation recovery.

Surveys are a good baseline but definitely layer in social listening tools like Brandwatch or Sprout Social to catch organic sentiment shifts you'd miss otherwise. We ran a 3-wave tracker (pre, 30-day, 90-day post-recall) for an auto client and the social data often moved faster than survey results. Also worth pulling in JD Power or YouGov BrandIndex scores if your client subscribes — gives you a credible external benchmark for recovery.
